An under-complicated email service
We left the bells and the whistles at home. I don't think you'll miss them.
Email marketing is an important component of ecommerce. But somewhere along the way, the software we used for email went off the rails. Every app available to us became a labyrinth, and managing it became its own cottage industry.
So one day the two of us decided to build a version that is stripped down as much as possible. It’s kinda like the legacy software are a line of luxury cars, and this is a bicycle. Have you heard the saying, “I’d rather be laughing on a bike than crying in a BMW”? Yeah... that.
idiosync is barebones on purpose. It’s not for everyone. It’s just a tool to send emails. There is no training or agencies that specialize in managing it. You just go in, get the thing done, and then move on.
There is also no AI built in. Because people are better at using their own AI, whether it’s Claude or GPT or whatever, than they are at using some built-in version. So you’ll probably use AI, but not a shitty version duct-taped inside so we can “get funded.”
What you DO gain with idiosync is a clearer head, free of distractions, so you can focus on the strategy, content, and copywriting that makes email such a good marketing channel.
